I have a 1996 3/4 ton Chevy C2500 2wd single cab pick-up, with a 4L80E Automatic and 8600Lb GVW with a Tommy liftgate. I wondered if your Trailer Hitch C15325 will be able to accommodate my vehicle with that type of liftgate?

While we do not have a receiver that is specifically designed to work with your 1996 Chevrolet C2500 having the Tommy liftgate, I do have some measurements that may help you determine if one will fit your truck. You will need to measure the height from the frame mounts to where the top of the receiver will be to determine if it will clear the Tommy Liftgate.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15325 is 4-1/4" from the frame mounts to the top of the receiver. This is designed for trucks with the standard or step bumper.

We also have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15317 that is 7-1/4" from the frame mounts to the top of the receiver. This receiver is designed for the taller 10" deep drop bumper.

I have linked the installation instructions for both so you can ensure you are looking at the correct mounting hole locations when you are measuring on your truck.
