I recommend installing the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Flatbed Trucks # BWGNRK1500. This is a gooseneck hitch that is specifically designed to be installed on flatbed trucks. This hitch is capable of towing a maximum of 30,000-lbs, and a vertical load limit of 7,500-lbs.

If you want to also use a 5th wheel, you can use the B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3050 which will utilize the hole used to house the gooseneck ball on # BWGNRK1500.

This 5th wheel hitch has a maximum towing capacity of 25,000-lbs, and a vertical load limit of 6,250-lbs.

I have not heard of any issues regarding frame cracking, however, you will need to fabricate some kind of steel surface underneath the bed for the gooseneck hitch to be welded.

Additionally, I recommend referring to your owners manual for your maximum towing capacity and compare the numbers between the hitch and the vehicle, and use the lowest rating between the two.
