Is There A Single Crossbar Roof Rack Available For A 2020 Acura MDX?

Question:

Do any vendors sell just one bar/2 feet/2 fit kit? I want to carry a ladder on my 2020 Acura MDX and I dont think the rack systems will provide sufficient bar separation front to back to stabilize a ladder. Id want to use a trailer hitch ladder rack along with. Looking at Inno and Rino square bar systems. Thanks

This will depend on if you have the naked style roof or the flush mounted rails that run front to back on your 2020 Acura MDX. I have all options listed below, but I do need to mention that the fit-kits for your MDX do only come as a pack of 4, so you will end up with a few extra parts. This is due to there not really being demand for one bar on this kind of vehicle.

2020 Acura MDX with flush rails:
-Thule Kit:
Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 53 inch Long - Qty 2 # TH711420
Rapid Podium Feet for Thule Crossbars - Fixed Point - Qty 4 # TH460R
Rapid Podium Feet for Thule Crossbars - Fixed Point - Qty 4
Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet - 3132 # THKIT3132

2020 Acura MDX with naked roof:
Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Crossbar - 54" Long # RB1375B
Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Heavy-Duty Crossbars # RRRLKHDH
Custom DK Fit Kit # DK400

Inno does not currently offer single square crossbars or half leg kits, so you would need an entire roof rack set up to go this way and I did not include one due to this. Yakima also does not currently offer a single square bar, so the included one is for an aero style bar.

Though you mentioned square bars, the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar - 54" Long # RRVA137B will cost the same as the Heavy Duty Square Bar and will be significantly quieter as well. These will require the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRRLKVAH as the connection is different. The leg kits are also the same price. Figured I would include them just in case.
