When it comes to the Class II and Class III hitches for the 2020 Honda CR-V there is little difference in terms of weight. The Curt Class II hitch # C12169 weighs 29 lbs and both of the Class III hitches like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848 weigh 30 lbs.

If I were to recommend a hitch for your 2020 Honda CR-V it would be the etrailer # e98848. A Class III hitch gives you a big advantage with the 2" receiver. This will give you more options for accessories and is a better choice for towing as well. This hitch has a concealed cross tube to help maintain a factory look. It also comes with a matte black powder coat finish which sets it apart from other hitches with a glossy finish. This does a better job of hiding dirt and scratches.

If you plan on doing some towing, I also recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118741. This plugs directly into existing wiring, providing you with a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights.

For a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.

I have attached some review and installation videos for your reference.
