Can I Use My Track Pro # BLU27FR with an 800-Pound Trailer?

Question:

Hello I have the 1300 lb TrackPro and going to tow a smaller travel trailer with a tongue weight around 800 lbs. My parts list shows a BXW4040 kit for that weight. Can I down grade the hitch and bars still fit correctly? or would the ride quality be that noticeable if I just used the 1300 lb bars?

When using the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - 7-Hole Shank - 13K GTW, 1.3K TW # BLU27FR with your smaller 800-pound tongue weight trailer, it will be a super stiff and uncomfortable ride. For this reason and due to the tongue weight range of the bars, I recommend switching out the bars to the Replacement 800-lb Spring Bars for Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution System # BLU25FR. This is the safest route.
