How To Install Brake Controller In a 2010 Chevy Suburban
Question:
I have a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional Item # 90885 that is currently in use on one of my vehicles. I would also like to use it on my 2010 Suburban with towing package. I need a pigtail. Can you please tell me which one I need? Thanks.

The 2010 Suburban doesn't have a brake controller connector under the dash, but there are bare ended tow package wires that your # 90885 will connect to. All you'll need is the # 7894 wiring pigtail.
The tow package wiring is located near the top of the e-brake pedal, the harness has a white tag on it which will make it easier to identify. The pigtail wires to the tow package wiring as follows:
- Tow package red/black striped wire connects to black pigtail wire
- Tow package light blue wire connects to red pigtail wire
- Tow package dark blue wire connects to blue pigtail wire
- Tow package white wire connects to white pigtail wire
I've linked to an installation video that you might find helpful.
