There are five items that you will need to tow your 2007 Jeep Wrangler behind your 1999 Sea Breeze Motorhome - base plate, tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking system.

To start off with the base plate for your Jeep, I have attached a link with base plate options, however, these options are dependent upon what type of bumper you have on your Jeep. If you have the standard vehicle without aftermarket bumpers, winches, and guards then the RaodMaster XL # 1429-1 is a solid choice. This base plate has removable arms so when you are not towing, they are not visible.

Moving directly into the towbar, working off the premise of using the # 1429-1, then the RoadMaster Falcon 2 # RM-520 is a good choice because it has the Autolok and quick disconnect features. I have attached a short installation video.

For a set of safety cables, the Dutton-Lainson, 40 inch Vinyl Coated # DL20119 should work just fine. If you find you need a longer cable, we have a wide assortment and I have attached a link.

An easy lighting kit is the RoadMaster # RM-155. This is a universal kit that will bypass your Jeeps electrical system.

Next is the supplemental braking system that is required in most states - the RoadMaster InvisiBrake # RM-8700 is an economical way to cover this requirement. I have attached a brief installation video on a similar vehicle.

If you would like a proportional supplemental system, then the RoadMaster # RM-9400 is the way to go.

To help you through the process, I have also attached a few FAQ articles that cover RoadMaster tow bars, basic towing and supplemental braking systems.
