Location Of Holes To Be Drilled For a B&W Turnover Ball On a 2013 Ram 1500 Short Bed Truck
Question:
2013 ram 1500 quad cab w 6’4” bed….what’s the distance fore/aft where you drill the hole? How do you locate the correct distance/location? I see the installer in the video measuring from the rear edge of the bed but no distance is mentioned.

For your 2013 Ram 1500 with the 6'4" bed you will drill the 4" hole for the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1309 at 40-1/8" from the rear edge of the bed. This hole will be centered between the fenders.
The 3/4" hole will be 37-3/8" from the rear edge of the bed and 4-3/4" off the bed center line to the drivers side of the bed. Be sure to see the included image for help in marking the hole centers.
Since you have a short bed the 4" Offset Ball # BWGNXA4685 will help you to gain additional turning clearance that you would otherwise not have.
