Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack & Pace Edwards UltraGroove Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover

I have a Ram 1500 5.5foot bed with an Ultragroove tonneau cover. The Ultragroove has t-slots along its length. Can I use this rack with the t-slots, or do I need to use cross bars to mount the Pioneer rack? I would prefer something low profile that covers a lot of the truck bed. It isnt clear if there are short feet that can go into the t-slots and connect directly into the Pioneer rack.

What I understand is that you have the 2021 Ram 1500 with 5-1/2' bed and the Pace Edwards UltraGroove Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover, # 311-KRDA24A55, or similar model, installed. This design of retractable tonneau cover with the T-slot rails lets you add a light-duty ladder rack or roof rack to your Ram 1500. You want to install a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack and are asking if the model with the Backbone Mounting System will fit these T-slot rails.

After contacting Rhino Rack they informed me that their product is only jointly engineered to fit with the Retrax covers such as the PowertraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover, # RTT-90243 with accessory T-Slots.

We have the EL200 Ladder Rack for Pace Edwards UltraGroove Tonneau Covers - Dodge, # 311-ELD0101 that fits built-in RES (rail expansion system) on UltraGroove, UltraGroove Electric, and UltraGroove Metal tonneau covers.
