Can Dexter Brake Assembly 23-468-469 be Used Instead of 23-26 and 23-27
Question:
Dexter brake assembly question. You guys recommended part number 23–27 and 23–26 for brake assemblies on another customers question. Would I be able to use part number 23–468–469 that way they are self adjusting?

Yes, # 23-468-469 are 10" x 2-1/4" brake assemblies just like # 23-26 and # 23-27. Both sets have a 4 bolt brake flange pattern and are designed for 3,500 lb axles so they are interchangeable with one exception. If you have 13" wheels then the # 23-468-469 will not work for you. This brake assembly kit works with 14-15" wheels.
I would definitely recommend these self-adjusting brakes. Not only is it more convenient, you also don't have to remember to make adjustments. Since they adjust themselves you don't have to worry about proper adjustment like you would with the others, leading to better brake efficiency.
I have attached a review video for your reference.
