But the key thing is that this hitch will provide you with a 2" hitch receiver opening which is the most common size used for hitch mounted accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers, and ball mounts. So whether you are using your bike rack or trailer this hitch has you covered. If any of your hitch mounted accessories are intended for use with a 1-1/4" hitch and they don't have an adapter for use with a 2" hitch you can use the Hitch Reducer # HT02 to reduce the hitch size to 1-1/4".
To round out a towing package for when you use your trailer you can pick up the Curt Wiring Harness # C56434 and the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
