Since your jack is still working manually the issue is not with your gears but with the motor itself. Unfortunately this is a common issue with jacks and there aren't replacement motors available from most manufacturers so you would need to just completely replace the jack. Before replacing the jack I do recommend checking any in-line fuses and the wiring with a voltage tester like the # PTW2992 to ensure the issue isn't simply a lack of current running to the motor.

For a jack with a 3,500lb weight capacity and 18" lift I recommend the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack with Footplate # LC285318. This jack has a bolt-on design and can extend 6" in 41 seconds. It has 2 toggle switches on the front of the housing let you operate the jack. An on/off switch controls the light to make coupling/uncoupling your trailer in the dark easy peasy and an extend/retract switch that controls up and down movement. It has a black powder coat finish that resists rust and corrosion for an extended lifespan.

I've attached a review video for you as well that will offer some additional information as well as show you this jack inaction.
