Yes, the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7275 is a confirmed fit for a 2016 BMW X3 with M Sport package. The rear bumper design is slightly different between standard and M-Sport models but this won't affect fit of the hitch.
