Correct Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System for a 2017 Airstream Bambi
Question:
We just purchased a 2017 Airstream Bambi with a total loaded weight of 4500lbs, 3600 dry. The weight distribution hitch it came with is insane, rated for 14,000 lbs and is massive that it scrapes the ground on any incline. I’m wondering if the 6,000 hitch is the way to go if if there is a 5,000 version. The tongue weight as it stands is 400 lbs but we may add another battery so that will go up some. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated as we are very new to this!

The best Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System for a 2017 Airstream Bambi is part # EQ37060ET which is rated up to 600 lbs. The ideal range however is between 200-600 lbs so this will be perfect for you setup. It's also highly regarded as one of the best systems on the market. The next size down is 0-400 lbs which would be too low for this trailer.
