Recommendations For Mounting A 4 And 7 Pin Adapter To 2021 Ford Bronco Factory Hitch
Question:
How do you mount the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 4-Way Flat to 7-Way RV Trailer Adapter w/ 4-Way Vehicle End Plug to a factory tow hitch for the 2021 Ford Bronco? The factory tow hitch mounts the 4 pin with a flat bracket. The one included in this package is a L bracket. Is there another bracket or a different adapter better suited?

Factory mounts will end up being different than aftermarket ones, so the only thing I can recommend is removing the 4 Flat mount and drilling two holes in the hitch for the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow # HM47180 to mount to. On the factory hitch where your 4 Flat mount is located, it is designed for holding wiring like this, but how the 7 Way will mount will end up being very low as it will hang down below the receiver opening.
What may be a better option is the Hopkins 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets # HM40975-11998. This will still hang down if mounted the same way, but less so, but can also be mounted upside-down. However, this will require modification to the bumper to make it fit without customizing the bracket to make it longer.
