Can 4-Way Trailer Wiring be Used to Power LED Flood Light on Trailer

can I add an LED flood light to my trailer from a 4 pin wiring harness

Expert Reply:
A standard 4-way would not be able to support an LED flood light. You'd have to use a 4-way to 7-way kit like the part # ETBC7L which comes with everything needed to activate the 12 volt circuit that you could use to power a flood light on the vehicle side and convert it to a 7-way.
Then on the trailer you'd need to install a 7-way too with the part # 277-000141 plus 12 gauge wire to run from the box to the light with part # 12-1-1 which we sell by the foot.
