Weight Rating of Dexter K71-652-00 EZ-Flex Cushioned Trailer Leaf Spring Equalizer
Question:
Hello, Im looking to buy a Dexter EZ-Flex equalizer kit for my travel trailer. Could help me choosing the correct Equalizer kit, i need to know if the weight rating of the kit is for the GVWR of the trailer of the weight rating of each of my axle? The kit K71-652-00 is for 6000 pounds, but is it for a 6k Travel trailer of for 6k axle? Thanks!

The Dexter # K71-652-00 E-Z Flex Suspension Kit is meant for use with 6K axles.
The # K71-652-00 E-Z Flex is designed to replace existing equalizers that are between 5-1/4 to 6-1/4 inches long (measured side to side from bolt hole center to bolt hole center and 2 inches tall, as shown in the provided photo.
If you do not have 6K axles, please let me know the axle capacity and I'd be happy to make a recommendation for something that would be compatible. The kit includes the following:
• 2 E-Z flex equalizer assemblies
• 8 Shackle strap assemblies - shackle straps with wet bolts
• 4 Shoulder bolts
• 2 Press bolts
• 12 Flange nuts
• 2 Hex locking nuts
