I am looking at this draw tight number 6715 it says it’s a front mount hitch tire carrier any reason why it cannot be mounted at the rear in my particular situation of a class C motorhome it is much less of a tilt then the

You can use the Draw Tite Rear Mounted Spare Carrier # 6715 at the rear of a motorhome. We've had several customers who have done this report back to us that it worked out just fine and there's no reason there'd be any issue.

I have a better solution for you. Check out the Draw Tite Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier part #6715. This carrier has a less severe angle that should work well for you.
