Can 2019 Ram 1500 Tow Trailer that Weighs 6,100 lb

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 truck with a 5.7 Hemi, 3.21 rear, and 4 wheel drive. I just bought a trailer with a weight of 6,100 lbs. will my truck pull it safely?

I looked up the towing capacity of your 2019 Ram 1500 and based on it's very impressive capacities it would easily be able to tow a trailer that weighs 6,100 lbs. A weight distribution system like the part # RP66542 that you referenced wouldn't be a terrible idea though as it would help reduce suspension sag as well as improve handling and braking.

Since your tongue weight is right at 1,000 lbs the Reese Trunnion system part #RP66542 would be a great option with a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs.
