Where to Mount Air Tank on Pickup With No Space Under Truck

Question:

I have a 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. I have purchased the Firestone Dual Air Command III with air tank. I can not find a suitable location to mount the 1 gallon air tank supplied with the kit. a 38 gallon fuel tank and factory dual exhaust says not under there. The body sits low on the frame so outside the frame rails is a no go. I see some put it in place of the spare tire, not interested in this location. I put the compressor under the hood between firewall and air filter box on right side of vehicle. Would a smaller air tank be the solution? If so, do you have a recommendation. The supplied tank has 3 fittings/openings. Thanks

You could potentially mount the 1 gallon air tank from the Firestone Dual Air Command # F49VV in the bed of your 2019 Toyota Tundra but it would be a good idea to keep it protected with something so that you don't accidentally damage it if you end up needing to toss some stuff in your truck bed.

If you'd rather keep it out of your truck bed you can go with a smaller tank. I'm attaching a link to our selection of Firestone air tanks for you to check out. We don't have any specific mounting places for the tanks as the applications can change from vehicle to vehicle. Basically you'll need to check places around your truck like what you've been doing to see where the best place would be to install the air tank.
