Opening Doors on RAM Promaster Chassis While Using The GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier
Question:
I am looking to purchase the above cargo carrier to use on a RV, built on the RAM Promaster chassis. Since the RV is on order I do not have the ability to take measurements. However my question is: do you, have experience with other customers, to know if the carrier slides out enough to allow the rear doors to open when the carrier is in its extended slide out position?

The GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches, # H00604 will set 14" from the center of the hitch pin hole. It will extend a full 22" from this position to provide space for opening the doors on your 2021 Coachmen Nova Motorhome. While we do not have feedback from any of our neighbors that may be using this on a RAM Promaster Chassis, we do have feedback from someone using on the 2017 Mercedes Sprinter 3500. It does allow them to open the rear doors.
