Swing Away Cargo Carrier on Rear of a Pleasureway Excel Class B RV

Question:

I have a Pleasureway Excel class B RV. I want to add a swing away rear cargo box. Will this affect how it drives, since there will be so much more weight in the rear? I intend to put no more than 50-60 pounds of stuff inside the box. Which box?

Expert Reply:

Our best swing away cargo box is the Yakima EXO System with 2 Enclosed Cargo Carriers, part # Y74ZR. This adds 20 cubic feet of storage to the rear of your RV and works with Class III and Class IV 2 inch trailer hitch receivers.

This shouldn't affect the driving of the vehicle, though you'll want to be aware of the clearance of the box when driving.
