Switching From Manual To Powered Mode On The Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve
Question:
I bought 2 of these systems…both switches have been installed and power cables have been installed…when I plug in either gate valve…the arm in the back moves in and out…. When we hit the switch….. but the actual gate plate remains closed on both units…see photo…not sure what’s going on….. In the pictures one shows it hooked up to power…the back arm came out…. Meanwhile the gate is closed…. Both units same thing…. Fresh out of the box

The manual handle on your Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank - 3" Diameter # E1003VP needs to be connected to the black powered arm behind it that goes in and out to open the gate. In the photos you don't have the handle in the black powered arm so it will not pick the handle up to open the gate when you press the open button.
