Hitch for 2006 Toyota Highlander that Allows Full Sized Spare
Question:
I am looking to install a hitch on our 2006 Toyota Highlander so that I can install a hitch mounted bike rack. I read in the review section a few conflicting reviews saying that the hitch assemblies do not work if one has a full sized spare tire instead of the factory donut spares. My question is which of these hitches is comparable to use with a full size spare tire? Thanks!

For your 2006 Toyota Highlander the Curt hitch part # 13530 fits and unlike other options allows a full sized spare to be stored underneath it.
I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out as well.
