Identifying Unknown 5th Wheel Pin Box for Reese Goose Box Fit
Question:
I’d like to get a goose box but my wings were poorly painted over and this is all i can read. Will anything in the pic help to figure out which one will fit? Thanks

I forwarded your photo to my contact at Lippert who identified your pin box as a Lippert 1716. The correct Reese Goose Box to replace a Lippert 1716 is the # RP94716-61301 which has a 16K capacity. The Reese Goose Box is an excellent solution to adapt your 5th wheel trailer to work with a gooseneck hitch. The Goose Box is the only adapter endorsed by Lippert, so if your 5th wheel is still under warranty, using the Goose Box won't void your 5th wheel's frame warranty.
