Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2013 Forest River Vibe
Question:
I have a 2013 Forest River Vibe 21foot travel trailer. It has a v-nose design and there are very few WD hitches available. Our trailer requires. 2inch ball and I see that this has a 2 5/16. Is a 2inch available? Is there a lower weight rated hitch in this style/family? Our trailer weighs approx 3400lbs and has 300# tongue weight. Thanks

Since you have a v-nose trailer you need a weight distribution system that uses bolt on brackets instead of ones that require clearance above the frame. So for that you'd need the bolt on Reese brackets part # RP58305, and then for weight distribution system you'd want the part # RP66083 which has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs and features the best sway control around that works to fight sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and you'd be set.
