Best Trailer Tire in Size of 235/80-16

Question:

Load range E and F tires continually fail. Tire size is 23580R 16 Trailer is usually loaded around 12,000GWV. I need a tire that does not blow out in the summertime in West Texas. I run the tires at max tire pressure. I have had two blowouts in two days in less than 60 miles. Tires are 5 years old and imports which were not inexpensive . What do you recommend? I am thinking a F or G rated tire

The issue you are having is most likely due to the age of your tires. Normally at 4-6 years of age a trailer tire is compromised to the point of potential failure due to them breaking down over time.

The nicest trailer tire we have in the size of 235/80-16 that you need is the Taskmaster Provider tire part # TTWTRTM2358016E which is Load Range E and has a capacity of 3,520 lbs and a speed rating of 81 mph.
