hi looking to change my equalizers on my trailer to 4 inch i9n height from 2 1/2 inch, I was wondering if I will need to change my shackle straps, what I have now is 2 1/2 from eye to eye.

The difference in the length of the hangers typically dictates the lengths of the shackle straps and if you're going with a taller equalizer there may be a need to get longer shackles; going from a 2-1/2" tall equalizer to one that's 4" tall may not throw things off enough to require new shackles but getting something a little longer like the Shackle Strap - 3-1/8" Long # TRSL313 won't hurt and will likely make installation a bit easier.
