Are the dry bolts in this kit only 3 inches long? Same with all the wet bolts?

All the bolts in the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-653-00 will have slightly different lengths as they are used in different locations and use different components.

The 4 Wet Bolts # 34007-187-00 for mounting the leaf springs to the frame mounts on your trailer are 2-7/8" long from the base of the hex head to the end of the threads.

The Shackle Link Bolts # 018-026-05 are 3-3/8" long to accommodate for thickness of the larger 1/2" thick shackles.

The Bolt # 007-003-01 that mounts the Dexter Equalizer in place is 3" long.

The center bolt on the E-Z Flez equalizers like the part #K71-653-00 should be tight enough so that it doesn't come off, but not tight enough that it prevents the two pieces of the equalizer from moving. My contact at Dexter recommended 70 ft…

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
