Troubleshooting Titan BrakeRite Electric Over Hydraulic Brake System Not Building Pressure

Model 1500, p/n 068 001 00 When I pull the break away pin, the unit works fine, when I supply power to the black and blue it comes on bit does not build pressure, if I tap the black and blue a few times with a power lead it works, but never on one single tap

It sounds like that there is something causing a issue with the power coming in from your brake controller (blue wire).
To start you will want to verify that you are getting constant 12 volt power using a Multimeter # PT89ZR, to your black wire and that there are no issues with the main power going into this wire. Titan recommends that this wire have at least 30amps of power. Since the breakaway switch has its own power source it doesn't rely on the black wire for its power.
Next you will want to confirm that your brake controller is compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes and if it needs to be changed in the settings to this mode that you have done so. When the brake controller applies power you will want to ensure that it to is sending a constant 12 volts of power and the signal is not broken.
