What Size Brake Lines Do I Need for a Kodiak Disc Brake Kit?
Question:
Can you tell me what size brake lines I need please? I need to know what the inside diameter of the line kit needs to be. I bought a 1/8inch inside diameter line kit, but Im worried that is not big enough to supply the correct pressure/volume of brake fluid. I recently bought the K2HR89DD brakes for my tandem axle fifth wheel RV from Etrailer. Thank you in advance.

The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit item # K2HR89DD uses a 3/16" brake line with a 1/8" ID. These lines paired with the correct actuator will provide adequate pressure to engage your braking system. I recommend the HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Kit for Disc Brakes item # HBA16-252-82. This is the quickest reacting and most reliable actuator and comes with a breakaway kit.
