The inside measurement is really what you'll be looking at considering the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch # 13703 will ultimately be bolting onto the frame of your trailer. This is a really good option because of it's versatility it will be able to work on box-frames, i-beam frames, and c-channel frames. The Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch also features a heavy duty construction frame, and a gross trailer weight of 3,500lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 350lbs which should be more than enough to tow your golf cart.
