Replacement Disc Brake Kit For Homemade Boat Trailer and TDE 46245 Rotors

Hi there I bought a boat and trailer in Fl the boat and motor is a 2004 boat proline 21.8 cc tandem axle trailer with homemade vin plate I think 3500 lb axles brake calipers are gone I pulled the disc hub combo off it is stamped TDE 46245 -21.6 mm . tie down 70E actuator on trailer . what Kodiak brakes can I put back on the trailer I dont know if all 3500 lb axles are standard please help I need brakes Thanks

Your TDE 46245 looks to use the Bearings # L68149 and # L44649 which are the common bearings used on most 3,500lb axles. You can check and see if your rotors do have these same bearings used on your axle in case they were changed at some point.

These are the same bearings that are used on the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR35DKG.

As this is being used for a boat trailer the best option is the Stainless Steel Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R35S. This includes stainless steel rotors, calipers, mounting brackets and hardware for superior rust prevention. These rotors are more like vehicle rotors in they are not built into the hub. A Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-35-G-K would be needed to complete the installation on your boat trailer.
