Is Distance Range of Solera Awning part # LC434718 When Extended or Stored

Question:

i have read several answers about replacement manual awning arms ranging in diff lengths as in 68inch to 81. the one piece of info missing in every answer is .... is 68inch to81inch the measurement in its closed position? in other words, does 68inch to 81inch refer to the collapsed and fully extended measurements? or does 68inch to 81inch refer to the full collapsed or closed position option for diff wall backer board locations on diff side wall heights? i am trying to figure out if the arms only telescope 13inch total 81-68 or if they will telescope to 96inch but collapse to 81inch to 68. the awning side rail is mounted slightly high on the wall. i would like the handles lower. they are 68-81inch dometic side rails. i do not want to loose awning ground clearance in the full up position. will # LC434720 the handles with our loosing ground clearance in the full up position? i have searched every where i could for collapsed and full extension measurements but cannot find any. like when measuring a shock absorber.

The Solera Awning part # LC434718 that you referenced has varying lengths between 68 and 81 inches which allows for varying pitch options which is when the awning is open. I don't see how this would cause you to lose ground clearance.
