Hello, I bought a 1998 Starcraft Meteorite pop up and I need to replace the winch. Do you carry that?

We do offer quite a few replacement winches that can be made to work with your 1998 Starcraft Meteorite Pop Up Camper, but you may need to drill new mounting holes to match the new winch depending on the model of your old winch.

To raise and lower the roof of your Pop Up camper you will want a reversible winch like the Dutton-Lainson # DL14934 you were looking at which has a 1200lb capacity which is plenty for your intended use, and has an automatic brake to keep the roof from collapsing while you raise or lower it.

I included a video of the # DL14934 and a diagram of the mounting bolt pattern for you to take a look at.

The best option we have is the Dutton Lainson part #DL14934 which has a 1,200 lb capacity, single speed, brake and a galvanized finish. We don't have stainless steel or aluminum winches.
