Does Reese Elite fit on the Curt 16220 X5 Gooseneck to 5th wheel adapter for double lock EZr rails?

While we do have numerous 5th wheel hitch options for you, the Reese Elite mounts to certain underbed rails, so it won't fit the Curt X5 5th-Wheel Base Rail Adapter Plate for EZr Double Lock Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # C16220.
Instead, what you will need is a 5th wheel hitch that mounts to standard above-bed base rails, which is what the X5 Adapter # C16220 will give you. For a hitch similar to the Elite in quality, I highly recommend a different option from Reese:
- Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928
Like the Elite, the M5 has a strong, single-piece jaw system, called a Talon jaw system. The jaws are always ready to accept the king pin, which means you don't have to open them when coupling, making the M5 easier to use than other hitches. The Talon jaws also have a very tight tolerance when gripping the kingpin, wrapping around it like a vice to minimize movement for a more stable, enjoyable towing experience than other hitches with lower-quality jaws.
The M5 # RP30928 also has a handy color indicator system which will turn from red to green to let you know if the jaws on the hitch are locked around the king pin, taking any guesswork out of the equation. Additionally, the head of the M5 is able to be offset by 1-1/2" front or back to give you optimal clearance from your truck's cab.
