How To Set Up The Yakima RoadShower On A Ford Ranger With RetraxOne XR Tonneau Cover

Hi- I would like to install a Yakima roadshower 7G on my Ford ranger with a retraxone xr tonneau cover. I would like to install it on a single truck bed HD crossbar sideways, parallel and against the crew cabin right over the tonneau canister: driver-passenger orientation in contrast to front-rear on two perpendicular crossbars. Over the canister is wasted space anyways. I have a solution for you, however, the parts you listed will not be a good fit for your RetraxOne XR tonneau cover, and the Yakima Road Shower requires it to be clamped onto two crossbars as it does not work with just one crossbar.

The best setup for your application is Rhino-Rack Vortex Crossbar System for Retrax XR Series and Mountain Top EVO-M Tonneau Covers - Black - 71" # RRVA180B-RRRLT600; you can also get this in the 65" version # RRVA165B-RRRLT600. This system is compatible with your the t-slot rails on your Retrax XR cover and also works well with the Yakima RoadShower Portable Solar Shower for Roof Racks - 7 Gallon # Y89VR.
