Using a Curt A25 with Lippert Turning Point Pin Box and Short Bed Truck
Question:
I have a 2018 Ram 2500 6.4L and installed a Anderson ultimate 5th wheel mount on the factor goose neck ball and a turning point pin box. 1st time towing and am getting a lot of chucking so just ordered a Curt C16021-16021 hitch. I noticed it says for and 8 ft bed but with the turning point pin box I am thinking it will extend far enough out to turn most corners but not a 90, am I correct?

Your 2018 Ram 2500 with 6-1/2 Foot Bed with OEM Prep Pkg and a Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package, # C16046 will work just fine on 5th wheel RV installed with Lippert Turning Point Pin Box. The extended pivot point on the Turning Point eliminates the need for a sliding hitch that would otherwise be needed on short bed trucks like yours to provide cab clearance during sharp turns.
