Center Bolt Hole Line Purpose On The Reese M5 5th Wheel trailer Hitches
Question:
So my reese 5th wheel hitch came with four bolts and in pic on site that is what is used. It does however have a whole on each side for a 5 and 6 bolts. Why are these not used?

The bolt holes on the side of the head of the Reese M5 20k Hitch # RP30890 allow for you to increase or decrease the height of the head and the center line of bolt holes are used on the 27k hitches like the # RP30895 which require three bolts to secure the head to the legs.
