Is there any way cross bars can be adapted to the above described bed cover on a 2014 Ford F150 with 51/2inch bed??

I may have a solution for you, but rails can't be added to the RetraxONE MX # RT60371 that would allow you to add crossbars to your 2014 Ford F-150's truck bed and tonneau. If you don't already have the tonneau cover, instead of the RetraxONE MX you'll want to instead use the RetraxONE XR # RTT-60371 which can accept a roof rack system or certain ladder racks with the slotted rails it uses.

The best rack system for use with a RetraxONE XR is the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack for Tonneau Cover # Y01151-5855, which offers adjustable height crossbars and an easy installation.

The channels of the RetraxPRO XR Tonneau #RTT-80373 are going to sit centered above your bed rails basically. So you'll need to measure from bed rail center to bed rail center and then compare that to your Jetstream bars to see if they'd fit.…
