Crossbar Extender Type Solution to Make Loading Kayaks Easier

Question:

Good morning. We have a 2014 Chevy Traverse that has c channels in the side rails. We currently have a kit that we attached that runs from side rail to side rail and handles our Thule Hull a Ports without any issue. However, wed like to take a different approach if possible to make it easier to load our kayaks. We would like to be able to load them side by side, hull down so we could slide them up onto saddles which should be much easier for us. Wed like to know if there are feetfoot or legsfoot we can purchase to attach to the c channels and if a 60inch cross bar could be utilized. Thank you.

So the longest crossbar roof rack we have for your 2014 Chevy Traverse with flush rails is the Rhino Rack Vortex rack part numbers # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK297 which is 54 inches long.

One solution that I think you'd like is the Rhino Rack Universal Load Assist part # RR-RUSL which temporarily attaches to a crossbar to extend it and gives you a pivot point for making loading the kayak a bit easier. If you check out the review video link I attached you'll see more info.
