Parts Needed to Upgrade Equal-i-Zer Weight Distribution to 1,200 lb Tongue Weight
Question:
I pull an Airstream 27foot Tommy Bahama trailer. The tongue weight spec at 15is 850 pounds but the actual tongue weight is closer to 1,200#. I want to upgrade the bars to 1,200 pounds but I havent been able to find Equalizer Brand bars. Will these Reese bars work for me? They appear identical in the picture - trunnion hitch mount with curved ends. Thank you.

We do have the Equal-i-zer 1,200 lb tongue weight spring bars with the part # EQ90-01-1299 which it sounds like you are in need of. You should note that you'll have to replace the head of the system too since they are all different sizes based on spring bars that are installed. For that you'd need the part # EQ90-02-1200.
The Reese bars would not work for you.
