Which Kenda ST205/75/14 Tire Has A Speed Rating Above 65 MPH?
Question:
I have read the specs and great reviews for this tire on your website. I have not found the speed rating for this bias ply tire. I have a single axle camper roughly 2000 pounds loaded. It is only a 16foot and we sometimes hit 60-68MPH on the interstates. I have seen similar tires which only have a 62mph rating. Thanks

The Kenda Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire - Load Range C # AM1ST86 you were looking at has a speed rating of 65MPH.
To tow your trailer at speeds above 65MPH I recommend going with the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C # AM10234 instead. This tire has an 81MPH speed rating, and it being a radial tire will give it improved traction and stability on paved roads due to the difference in ply design. At this time we do not have a bias ply tire in this size with a speed rating above 65MPH.
The # AM10234 still has the same 1-year worry free guarantee and 5-year limited warranty, and its 1960lb load rating at 60 PSI will be more than enough for your 2000lb single axle camper.
Now you will need to make sure you go with radials on both spindles, as mixing bias ply and radial tires can cause the trailer to be unstable due to the differences in ply design.
I included a video of the # AM10234 for you to take a look at.
