Can I Still Use My Air Distribution Box and Thermostat with the Advent Air Carrier A/C Replacement
Question:
I have a 2008 Trail-Bay trailer. The A/C went out. I found what your site says is the replacement upper unit. You say it is a direct plug and playinch solution. Do I need to purchase the lower control unit, or does the current lower unit work with the replacement? My Carrier has a wall mounted remote control. It operates the heater and the A/C

The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup w/ Start Capacitor - 13,500 Btu - White # ACCAR135 is designed to work with all of your existing components and only replace the rooftop unit. This will connect to your thermostat and use the existing air distribution box, so you're not required to replace either of those parts of your system.
