Anti-Rattle Recommendation For Up & Down Movement of 2 Inch Hitch Extender
Question:
My 2” hitch extender fits well side-to-side, but has a lot of up-and-down movement within my receiver. Will this help with that? Having a hard time visualizing how the block pulling the sides together help with up and down.

The Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches # 63232 can help with play, but for up-and-down movement, I think there's a better option, with a dedicated anti-rattle stabilizer:
- Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches # e99007
Your hitch will need to have a collar around it for a stabilizer to work, but it will help greatly with vertical movement because it tightens the connection between your extender and the hitch itself. The stabilizer is simple, but highly effective; it is a U-bolt and bent plate, and as you tighten the plate to the U-bolt, it stabilizes your extender inside the hitch receiver.
I have added a link below to a video review which I recommend checking out as well of the Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches # e99007.
