If you'll look at the provided customer review by Mike H, you'll see that he was easily able to reinstall skid plate after the Curt # 31313 Front Mounted Receiver was installed on his 2008 Toyota Tacoma. No modifications were needed.

Normally the skid plate can reinstall after the front hitch part #31313 is installed but on the TRD models the skid plate is different and can't be.
