How To Carry 2 Kayaks On 2018 Silverado 2500 While Pulling 5th Wheel Trailer

Id like to know your recommendation for the following. I have a 2018 Silverado 2500 HD, trim level WT + standard bed. I tow a 2017 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite Fifth Wheel. We have 2 10 foot kayaks and wed like to know the best way to carry those while pulling the fifth wheel.

You will first need a roof rack on your 2018 Silverado 2500 single cab (work truck). I recommend the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack - Round Bars - 48" # 298-SX6000B. Then you will need a kayak carrier such as Malone Stax Pro2 Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # MPG115MD which can accommodate 2 kayaks. This may work for you without anything else, but since you won't be able to extend the kayaks over the bed, the kayaks may overhang over the front of the truck too much.
To solve this, I recommend adding Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver 2" # C31071 along with Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender for 2" Hitches - 375 lbs # MPG907. This will allow your kayaks to rest on the load extender at the front of your truck and provide for an evenly supported load.
