Recommended Replacement Axle for a 23 Foot Trailer
Question:
High, i currently own 23 foot tandem axel trailer with two rusted axles. My current axels are 3500lb and are curved downward. Curved maybe for the bottom of my boat? I question this because the cross members are not curved. Can I replace my axels with straight axels? As seen in the photos, mine are curved downward.

From the pictures you supplied, it looks like you should be able to go with a straight axle. It doesn't look like it would sit any higher than the beam that crosses the rear of the trailer. That being said, you will need to confirm a few measurements to make sure the replacement axles will fit your trailer.
The Dexter # 7359765 will measure 95 inches from hub face to hub face and 80 inches from the center of one spring seat to the center of the other spring seat. With this being a 3,500 pound axle, it will also use an # L68149 inner bearing and # L44649 outer bearing. Depending on the bearings your hubs use, you may need to replace them if they do not match. This is also a 2 3/8 round axle, you would need to replace your U-Bolts with something like the # APUBR-1.
