Recommended Ball Mount for Rock Tamers with 2.5" Hitch

Looking at pics I’m pretty sure it will fit. But before I order do you know if the Rock Tamer hitch mud flap will fit the Fastway hitch?

In order to use the Rock Tamers Heavy-Duty, Adjustable Mud Flap System for 2-1/2" Hitches part # ERT00110 you'll need a ball mount with extended length shank. For a 2-1/2" hitch, the best option we have would be the BulletProof Hitches Adjustable 2-Ball Mount part # HD256.

The Self-Locking, Adjustable 2-Ball Mounts don't offer enough shank to accommodate the Rock Tamers.

Rock Tamers like #ERT00110 are 100 percent compatible with the Curt Ball Mount for 2-1/2" Hitches #C45459. It is 2 inches from the hitch pin hole to the edge drop portion of the shank. It doesn't come with a pin and clip or lock to secure it…

No, it can't. The Rock Tamers Heavy-Duty, Adjustable Mud Flap System item #ERT00110 attaches directly to the ball mount not the receiver itself. There's no way around this you'll have to use your ball mount with these mud flaps.

I suggest using heat shields #RT76FR with the rock tamers #ERT00108 unless you have an aftermarket tip on your exhaust that makes a complete 90 behind the tire.
