Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite
Question:
Hello I see that you recommend this hitch for a 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite. e98855 Can you confirm that this doesn't require cutting to install and also does it continue to work with the handsfree lift gate? Thanks

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98855 you were looking at is confirmed to fit your 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite and is my recommendation for your vehicle due to it being easy to install and is a class II with a 525lbs tongue weight and 3,500lb trailer weight.
This hitch will block the center section of the hands free lift gate sensor, but you will still be able to use it by placing your foot on either side of the receiver.
Lastly the hitch will require you perform some minor trimming on the passenger side underbody panel which is going to be the case for each of the trailer hitch receivers available for your vehicle. If you would rather not trim the panel you can just not re-install the panel.
If you are planning on towing with your Odyssey then you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # 118781, and a hitch ball, ball mount, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
